Wes Smith

Wes Smith-89 of Valdosta, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012. He was born June 2, 1923 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Jasper and Anna Swanson Smith. Mr. Smith was a self-employed salesman and was of the Church of Christ faith. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Along with his parents, Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his wife, Marion Anna Smith, 2 daughters, Holly Ann Lindsey and Debra Joy Juan, and brothers and sisters, Darrell Jasper Smith, Russell Omar Smith, Lysle Barton Smith, Warren Luther Smith, Wanda Louise Peterson, and a grandson, Jeremy Juan.

His survivors include - son & daughter-in-law: Ralph & Jerri Smith of Valdosta, GA; 8 Grandchildren: Michelle Wright of Houston, TX; Chad Lindsey of Oahu, HI; Laurra Chong of Kamuela, HI; Eric Juan of Kamuela, HI; Anna Juan of Kamuela, HI; Sarah Othmer of Titusville, FL; Joshua Smith of Orlando, FL; Hannah Smith of Valdosta, GA; 11 Great Grandchildren; Sister: Elaine Smith-Hansen of Minnesota and a number of nieces and nephews.

As per his wishes he will be cremated and formal services will be held at the Imiola Congregational Church of Christ in Kamuela, Hawaii on August 4, 2012.
