Wesley C. Johnson – 69
Of Valdosta passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2008 in South Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born on March 30, 1939 in Lanier County, GA to the late Carlie F. and Eva Register Johnson. He graduated from Lanier County High School and then continued his education at the University of Georgia where he received his Pharmaceutical License in February of1962. He returned to Lakeland where he began his career as a Pharmacist with Lakeland Drug Company. He later became a part owner of Lakeland Drug and retired in December 2005. He was preceded in death by a sister, Myrtle Johnson Marra and her husband John Marra.

David & Leigh Sears, Adel, GA, Daughter, Lisa Sears Saul, Valdosta, GA, Grandchildren, Carley Saul, Wesley Saul, and Parker Nix, Niece, Marilyn Kilpatrick, Jacksonville, FL, Nephews, Tony & Melissa Marra, Jacksonville, FL, Jimmy & Julie Marra, Jacksonville, FL, Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law, Ronnie & Anna Wayne, East Palatka, FL
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 2, 2009 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Rev. John Bracken officiating. Burial will follow in Burnt Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 1, 2009 at the funeral home.
