Of Murfreesboro, TN passed away early Thursday morning in the St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. after a sudden illness. Mr. Royal was born and had lived most of his life in Valdosta, Ga, before moving to Murfreesboro, TN 15 years ago. He was a member of the River of Life in Church in Lavergne, TN. His wife, Sara Ben Freeman Royal and his son, Wesley D. Royal Jr. precedes him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday September 11, 2004 in Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
