WEYMAN SMITH – 73
Of Kathleen, GA , entered into rest Sunday, Jan.15, 2012. Mr. Smith was born June 6, 1938 in Lakeland, Georgia to the late Arthur and Lessie Smith. After graduating from Lanier County High School he went on to Georgia Tech and became a Civil Engineer, a profession that he thoroughly enjoyed. He retired from Slone Associates in 2011. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, DeWayne Smith, and his son, Weyman "Skip" Smith.
His memory will forever be treasured by his daughters, Holly Randy Green, Kathleen, and Amy Smith, Warner Robins, and his two grandchildren Jacob Green and Jordan Bradley, and a nephew, Jason Karyn Smith, Clarksville, Tenn.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Lakeland, GA and burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. He will be placed in the church 1 hour prior to services. Flowers accepted or donations can be made to the American Lung Association Headquarters, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Suite 800, Washington, DC 20004.
