Wilbon Louis “Sonny” Touchton, Jr. – 77
Of Jennings, FL passed away on April 16, 2017 at his residence. He was born on April 2, 1940 in Valdosta, GA to Wilbon L., Sr. and Exer Arecia (Hamby) Touchton. He worked at Valdosta State University as an air conditioning mechanic and was a member of Lake Park Church of Christ. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Pauline Webb and Lucy McNees.
Survivors include his Wife, Rosa Lee Fletcher Touchton of Jennings, FL; Daughters & Sons-in-Law, Becky & Joey Williams of Jennings, FL, Joy & Bryant Thrift of Macclenny, FL; Son, Glen Touchton of Stockton, GA; 7 Grandchildren, Summer Finney (Jerry), Dylan Brown, Ethan Touchton, Jacob Thrift, Cheyenne Thrift, Darrell Touchton (Heather), Kristy Self (Steven); 9 Great Grandchildren; And a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in Riverview Memorial Gardens. There will be no formal visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Georgia Christian School, 4359 Dasher Road, Valdosta, GA 31601.
