Of Barney passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 at his residence. He was born December 18, 1944 in Hahira to Marie Johnson Ellis of Texas and the late Jessie Will Ellis. Mr. Ellis was employed at Scruggs Company for 30 plus years. He was a member of Stockton Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 21, 2011 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Stockton Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the funeral home.
