Billy Dent – 61

Of Lakeland passed away early Monday morning April 24, 2006 at his residence following an apparent heart attack. He was born in Lanier County, GA and had lived in Lakeland most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents Eston Dent and Clois Durrance Crosby. He was a self-employed mechanic by trade before ill health forced his retirement. He served our country in the US. Air Force, and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Association. His membership is at Pleasant Way Baptist Church in Lowndes County.

Funeral Services were held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday April 26, 2006 in the Pleasant Way Baptist Church in Lowndes County with burial in the Church Cemetery.
