Wilburn “Juno” Leonard Leschber, Jr., 72, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. He was born on February 2, 1954, in Taylor, Texas, to the late Wilburn Leonard Leschber, Sr. and Josephine Helen Welch Leschber.
Juno proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force as a munitions specialist, dedicating many years of service before retiring. He was a talented mechanic who truly enjoyed working on cars and never minded getting a little greasy along the way. With a natural talent for working with his hands, he also found great enjoyment in woodworking, a hobby he treasured.
Born and raised in Texas, Juno grew up on a farm, and his love for farming remained a meaningful part of his life. He also enjoyed listening to music, with Dan Seals being his favorite artist.
He is survived by his loving wife, Denise Breaux Leschber; daughter, Jessica Joyner (Kevin); his son, Wilburn Leonard Leschber, III (Crystal) and his daughter, Samantha Alberson (Jeremy); his grandchildren: Jared Joyner, Hunter Joyner, Elizabeth Alberson, and Grant Alberson.
As per his wishes, he will be cremated and no formal services will be held at this time. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com. The Leschber family is being served by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services of Valdosta.
