Willard Carl Noles, Sr. – 86 of Lakeland, GA passed away Friday, September 23, 2022 surrounded by all of his loving family. He was born on November 14, 1935 in Naylor, GA to the late Floyd & Vernie Mae (Moore) Noles. Early in his life he served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He served faithfully as an Elder in the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Lakeland, GA for many decades. He loved his family, gardening, door to door ministry, and animals. He was known for being in his garden, barefoot, in jean shorts and torn shirt. He spent 22 years with Standard Container and later along with his wife started a window cleaning business that he owned and operated for over 27 years known as “Noles Window Cleaning”. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Ben L. Noles and sister: Helen Sowell.
Survivors Include: Wife of 63 years: Carolyn Virginia Curl Noles, Lakeland, GA; 4 Children: Deborah Jane Williams (Jamie Alan), Naylor, GA, Darlene Willette Henry (Hawg), Dupont, Ga, Denise Lee Ann Stroud (Bill), Lakeland, Ga, Willard Carl “Little Bill” Noles, Jr. (Tina Patten), Lakeland, Ga; Grandchildren: Kevin Blake Mizell (Andrea), Danis Nicole Reyes (Eric), Darla Michelle Roberts (Jerry), Bridget Ann Tomlinson (KT), Jennifer Shantel Baugher (Jason), Savannah Caitlin Henry, Charlotte Nicole Rotundo, Allison Renee Stroud, Hannah Marie Carpentier (Colin), Dustin Ryan Williams and Kasi Nicole Kennedy; Great Grandchildren: Sofia Madrid Mizell, Ashton Cade Roberts, Parker Lane Roberts, Brianna Allise Graddy (Dylan), Benjamin Shawn Corbitt, Jr., Cooper Braiden Spikes, Thomas Tripp Tomlinson, Hailee Tucker Roe, Saylor Maddison Roe, Beylee Kai Baugher, Corbin Tate Baugher, Ember Marie Carpentier and Annabeth Scarlett Carpentier; Great Great Granddaughter: Adelia Faye Graddy; First Cousins and special friends: Rayford Bennett (Beth), Stockton, GA, Naomi Twiggs, Stockton, GA and numerous nieces, nephews & extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 1, 2022 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Lakeland, GA with burial following in Good Hope Cemetery, Naylor, GA.
