Of Stockton, Georgia passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 at his home. He was born on February 2, 1968 in Homerville, Georgia to William Carroll Bennett, Sr. and the late Julia Belle (Touchton) Bennett. William served his country in the United States Army, joining in 1986 through 1994 during which he served in Desert Storm where he was awarded the Kuwait Liberation Medal along with other commendations. He loved fishing, cooking and spending time with his family.
Survivors include: daughter, Paige Bennett of Ray City, Georgia; son, Will Bennett (Ashley) of Stockton, Georgia; mother of children, Sandra Bennett of Stockton, Georgia; grandchildren: Brayden, Raylan, Maddie Brooke and Kyler; father, William Carroll Bennett, Sr. (Mary Lou) of Stockton, Georgia; sisters, Tamara B. Fender (Calvin) of Stockton, Georgia, Stephanie B. McGuire (Riley) of Stockton, Georgia; Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Stockton Baptist Church with burial to follow in Love Joy Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Monday, November 22, 2021 at the church.
