William J ( Bill ) Register passed away at home on the morning of June 14, 2018 following a period of illness. He will be remembered by many as the Bus Driver or parts man at Fender Motors, but he was so much more. He was a hardworking man who provided for his family and always strived to put forth his best effort in all he tried and accomplished. He was a friend to many, a faithful and loving husband, and “Daddy” to his sons, teaching us many valuable life lessons like honesty, integrity and the satisfaction of a job well done. He was a veteran, having served with distinction in the US Navy for 22 years active duty and reserve. His passion was farming and he was well known for tending the garden that could “feed half the county”.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah (Sally) Register (Schonholtz) from Long Beach California; 3 sons; John Register, Bill Register and his wife Tina Register from Lake City Florida and Donny Register; 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. He was proceeded by his parents Austin and Florence Register and 2 brothers; Charles Register and Julian Register.
