William A. ”Billy” Clements- 88


Of Ray City, Georgia passed away February 2, 2006 at Louis Smith Memorial Hospital in Lakeland after a lengthy illness. He was born in Berrien County on October 3, 1917 to the late William A. & Mary Elizabeth Clements. Mr. Clements was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, especially in Ray’s Pond. He served his country in the U.S. Army, during WWII. He owned and operated Victory Soda Shop in Ray City for 33 years. Mr. Clements was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ray City.

Brother Wendell Lee Clements Conyers, Ga.

7 Grandchildren: Mary Beth Clements, Jeanne Michelle Avalos, Stacee McEldoon, Justin Clements, Jennifer Clements, Christine Clements & Lindsey Phillips

5 Great-Grandchildren: Andrea Grace Avalos, Anslee McEldoon, Mollie McEldoon, Kyndall McEldoon & Jay Jay Dagle.

A number of Nieces, Nephews & Cousins.


Funeral services for Mr. Clements were held at 2:00 PM. Sunday, February 5, 2006 in the First Baptist Church in Ray City.
