William Thomas "Billy" Mizell, II – 49
Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 at his residence. He was born on July 1, 1967 in Honolulu, Hawaii to William Thomas and Sarah Lindsey Mizell of Young Harris, GA. He graduated from Lowndes High School and was a member of the Georgia Bridgemen Band under the leadership of Billy Martin. He served in the United States Army for 8 years. Billy was a bookkeeper for Denton Motorsports and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Malcolm & Evelyn Lindsey and Lloyd & Doris Mizell.
Along with his parents, survivors include his three Children; two Grandchildren; Sister & Brother-in-Law, Shannon & Chad Benefield of Fort Campbell, KY; 2 Special Aunts, Mary Blanton Fred of Lake Park, GA,
Sue Henderson Logan of Lake Park, GA; Uncles, Charles Mizell Carol of Barney, GA, Glenn McCranie Vi of Kerrie Tuck, NC, Tommy Lindsey Deanna of Valdosta, GA; Former Wife, Alex Mizell of Valdosta, GA; and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Sunset Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 270 Peachtree St NE #1040, Atlanta, GA 30303.
