William Clifton "Billy" Wetherington

William Clifton "Billy" Wetherington, 60 of Hahira, Georgia, passed away at Navicent Health System in Macon, Georgia. Billy was born on July 3, 1961, in Hahira, Georgia, to the late June Marie Shepard Wetherington and William Russell Wetherington. He worked with Roark’s Land Clearing and Restoration business. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kelly Crosby.
Survivors include brothers: Russell Wetherington of Hahira, Georgia, Donald Wetherington (Becky) of Hahira, Georgia; sisters, Patricia Easton (Billy) of The Villages, Florida, Sandra Preston of Hahira, Georgia; nieces and nephews: Hannah Plueger (Wesley), Megan Lally (Joe), Jessica Carter, Jimmy Giffin, Missy Easton, Chris Preston, Hayley Preston and Kara Preston; several great nieces and great nephews.
Memorialization will be by cremation and no formal services will be held. The family requests that no flowers be sent and that donations be made in William’s honor to Atrium Health Navicent Health Center at 777 Hemlock Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
