William Henry Branch Jr. – 57
Of Lakeland, Georgia passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on June 17, 1963 in Lakeland, Georgia to the late William Henry Branch Sr. and Nadine (Livingston) Branch. He was a graduate of Lanier County High School, Class of 1981 where he was elected Senior Class President. After high school he attended Middle Georgia College where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and Land Surveying. He then went on to receive his Advanced Engineering Degree in Atlanta, GA. He received his surveying license in 1996 and joined the family business, Branch Land Surveying. William enjoyed being at the Alapaha River fishing, swimming, hunting and being outdoors.
He is survived by his sons, William Henry Branch III, of Lakeland, Georgia, Heath Andrew Branch, of Lakeland, Georgia; grandson, William “Mason” Henry Branch IV; sister, Judy Bridges and Husband William J Bridges Jr. of Lakeland, Georgia; Brother, Bruce Alan Branch, of Lakeland, Georgia; Fiancé, Julie Roberts; nephews, Blake Branch, Brian Branch and numerous cousins and extended family members.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 23, 2021 in the Stockton Baptist Church Cemetery.
