William Ron Delk

William Ron Delk – 78 of Valdosta, GA passed away on Wednesday April 29, 2020, at his home. William was born on November 23, 1941 in Lakeland, GA to the late Verlie (Stokes) and George Delk. He was a cable repair man for BellSouth for many years until his retirement. William was a loving and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed cross word puzzles, and love to watch Perry Mason! Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Bart Hens; granddaughter, Allison Delk; brother, George E. Delk; sisters, Doris D. Young and Pam Delk.
Survivors include: loving wife of 59 years, Melitta Hofer Delk of Valdosta, GA; children: Freddy Delk and wife, Colleen of MacClenny, FL, Lisa D. Hens of Valdosta, GA, Ronnie Delk and wife Sherry of Valdosta, GA, Kathi D. Holland of MacClenny, FL; 10 grandchildren: Ryan, Travis, Michelle, Justin, Amber, Sammy, Mandy, Royce, Khloee, Emma;13 great grandchildren and one on the way (due July 2020); Sister, Elaine D. Ranallo and husband, Skip of Blakely, GA; Brother, Larry Delk and wife, Glenda of DuPont, GA; Several nieces and nephews.
