William B. “Billy” Ellenberg - 91

of Quitman passed away Monday, December 2, 2019 at South Georgia Medical Center after a short illness. He was born on July 17, 1928 in Brooks County, GA to the late William & Eula Mae (Cooper) Ellenberg, Sr. He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Rosa Lee (Massey) Ellenberg, sister, Betty Cooper and a brother-in-law, Fred Faucette. Billy was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved being outside, working in the yard and he loved fishing. He and our mother loved to see who could catch the most fish, he hated for our mother to catch more than him. Mr. Ellenberg loved his church and his community; he was always ready to help someone whether it was money or if they just needed a ride to go somewhere. He was a faithful member of Providence United Methodist Church for all of his life.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 4, 2019 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Providence Cemetery, Brooks County, GA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday evening, December 3, 2019 at the funeral home.
