William "Harvey" Hart, Jr. – 64
Of Hahira, GA passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on June 30, 1951 in Quitman, GA to the late William Harvey and Romie Croft Hart, Sr. He was an insurance salesman for Combined Insurance Company for many years. Harvey was an avid University of Georgia and Valdosta Wildcat football fan. He was preceded in death by two of his brothers, Larry Hart and Mike Hart.
His survivors include his Wife, Patti Hart of Hahira, GA; Son, Will Hart of Valdosta, GA; Daughter & Son-in-Law, Ashley & Jessie Roberts of Lakeland, GA; Son & Daughter-in-Law, David & Megan Scalf of Hahira, GA; 2 Grandchildren, Sophia Scalf & J.J. Roberts; Sisters & Brother-in-Law, Dorothy & Barry Ganas of Jennings, FL, Janice Veal of Valdosta, GA; Brother & Sister-in-Law, Oby & Linda Giles of Valdosta, GA; Sister-in-law, Imogene Hart of Marietta, GA and a number of nieces & nephews
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, May 27, 2016 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Hahira, GA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the funeral home from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
