William Delano Hutto was known by many names. Delano, Lanier, Bill and just plain ol' Hutto passed away June 26, 2008. He is proceeded in Death by his brother George "Bill" Hutto who died in the Korean war. His parents Emmit Paul Hutto and Nina Pearl Hill HuttoLakeland were members of the Lakeland Church of God. He is survived by his wife Jean "Pudge" Hutto, William "Billy" Hutto, Amanda "Ophelia" Hutto, and granddaughter Destiny "Flossie Mae" Wilson Douglasville. His brother James and wife Marion Hutto Valdosta. His Aunt Odessa Harvey Val., Aunt Claudie Stapelton Lakeland, a niece and many cousins. Lanier joined the Marines after high school. He worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad for thirty plus years in Anniston, Al, Jacksonville, FL and Atlanta, GA where he retired. Lanier was proud to call Lakeland home. He loved his friends like family and never met a stranger. Lanier pulled pranks until the end rest assured. Please join us for a memorial service will be held Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers please bring stories of him and his pranks to share to honor him the way he would have wanted.
