William (Bill) James Boyd Jr.

William (Bill) James Boyd, Jr., age 55, of Naylor, Georgia, died Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at home surrounded by his loved ones. Bill was born on December 12, 1965, in Hahira, Georgia to Jessie Marie Spikes of Naylor, Georgia and the late William James Boyd, Sr. He was a superintendent with his family business Steel-n-square. He enjoyed fishing, racing, loved corvettes, enjoyed making people laugh and going to the mountains; in his youngers years he worked on the farms with his family. He was preceded in death by his father; paternal and maternal grandparents.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his daughter, Macy Moses and husband Dakota of Lakeland, Georgia, two grandsons, Langston and Jameson Moses both of Lakeland; sister, Juanita Sloan and husband Jesse of Nashville, Georgia; two brothers, Archie Boyd of Lakeland, Georgia and Kenny Boyd and Yvonne of Auburndale, Florida; 3 nieces, 2 nephews and 4 great nephews and a host of cousins.
Graveside rites will be held at 10 O’clock AM, Friday, May 28, 2021 at Greenlawn Cemetery, 16 East College Street, Lakeland, Georgia 31635. The family will greet friend fifteen minutes prior to services at the cemetery.
