Of Stockton passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2005 in Crestwood Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. He was born on May 2, 1915 to the late John M. & Bertha Young Joiner in Alabama. He had lived in Quitman for before moving to Stockton in 1979. He was Baptist by faith.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Wayfare Cemetery.
Music Funeral Services of Lakeland is serving the Joiner family.
