William "Pete" Lee

January 26, 1977 — February 25, 2025

William “Pete” Lee, 48, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at his home. Born on January 26, 1977, in Jacksonville, Florida, Pete was the beloved son of the late William Lee and France Guess Griffin.
Throughout his life, Pete was known for his hard work and determination. He worked as a carpenter in the construction industry, and in time, proudly owned and operated his own company, Crossroads Construction. Additionally, Pete served as a butcher at a local meat market in town, showcasing his diverse skills and dedication to his community.
Pete had a deep love for the simple joys of life—fishing and spending time with the people around him. He was known for his generosity and selflessness, always willing to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
A member of Clyattville Church of God, Pete’s faith was a central part of his life. But above all, Pete loved his family fiercely. His devotion to his sweet mama was unwavering, and he would do anything to make her happy. His love for his family was matched only by his kindness and warm heart.
Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his grandmother, Bernice Guess and grandfather, Wallace Pete Guess.
Survivors include his mother, Frances Griffin; sister, Donna Richo; brother, Franklin Roberts; brother, Anthony Roberts (Robin); his children: Ashley, Tyler, Kassie, Jersey, Kayleigh, Bryce, Dalton, Savannah, Jasmine, Kendal and Marissa; niece, Hannah; 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
