William John Melligan, Jr. – 74
Of Lakeland passed away early Saturday morning December 8, 2012 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born November 21, 1938 to the late William John, Sr. and Esther Florence Kissinger Melligan in Ridley Park, PA.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 Sisters and 2 Brothers. He was a retired firefighter with the United States Air Force serving 20 years. He then worked with the Valdosta Fire Department for several years before his retirement.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday December 11, 2011in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial of the cremains in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lakeland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6:00 PM. To 8:00P.M. and also 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
