William A. Moore – 88
Of Valdosta, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Moore was born on February 28, 1930 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late Harry Adron and Mary Lillian (Beannette) Moore. He lived in Puerto Rico for 54 years on the island that he loved and was a veteran of the United States Navy. Before retiring, he worked for the Veterans Administration in human resources.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ida (Saturnina Santos) Moore; children, Billy, Jeff and Stuart (Chiqui); 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, his sister Doris, 3 nieces and a nephew.
“With much sorrow, I want to communicate to all our family and friends, the anguished loss of my beloved husband William A. Moore (Honey). I ask for prayers for the rest of his soul”- Ida Moore.
As per his wishes, his ashes will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Date of this event will be announced by family at a later time.
