William Irwin Parrish

William Irvin W.I. Parrish – 85

Of Lakeland passed away early Wednesday morning January 5, 2005 in Louis Smith Memorial Hospital in Lakeland after declining health for several months. He was born in Berrien County and had lived in Lakeland most of his life. He was a member of AARP, VFW in Nashville, the Lakeland Masonic Lodge # 434 where he served as secretary for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Mary Evelyn Parrish, a daughter Mary Linda Parrish, and a brother Lucious Parrish. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lakeland.

Funeral Services were held Friday, January 7, 2005 at 2 P.M. in the First Baptist Church in Lakeland with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mr. Parrish will lie in state one hour prior to the church service.
