Of Valdosta passed away Wednesday August 4, 2004 in Tift Regional Medical Center after an apparent heart attack. He was born on April 20, 1958 in Florida and had lived in Brooks and Lowndes County most of his life. His parents, James Washington and Estee Watson Powers, preceded him in death.
