Of Lakeland, Georgia passed away Friday, February 10, 2006 in the Berrien Nursing Center in Nashville, Georgia. He was born August 09, 1920 in Berrien County to the late Harry B. & Ada Williams Thornton. He worked in Drywall Construction for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Thornton and a son, Dennis Thornton.

Funeral services were held Sunday February 12, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Music Funeral Services, with burial in Burnt Church Cemetery.
