Willie V. "Bill" Bennett – 89

Of Stockton, GA passed away early Sunday Morning March 27, 2016 at his residence after declining health for a lengthy time. He was born October 18, 1926 in Clinch County, GA to the late James A. and Elmer Bennett. He served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War being honorably discharged in 1954. He was employed with Brown Transport as a truck driver until his retirement, receiving the safe driver award for having no accidents for many years. During his many years he enjoyed his family, spending as much time as possible with them. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 1 sister and 3 Brothers. He was a member of the Stockton Baptist Church.

Survivors: Wife, Janie Doris Bennett of Stockton, GA; Sons, Jimmy Bennett of Stockton, GA; Neal Rhonda Bennett of Stockton, GA; Carlos Cindee Bennett of Stockton, GA; Cody Ambur Bennett of Stockton, GA; Casey Darla Bennett of Nashville, GA; Grandchildren: Kimberly Brandon Wood of Nashville, GA; Dustin Bennett Katie of Homerville, GA; Great Grandchildren: Lexi, Ansley, Autumn, Cason, Chelby, Carsen, Caden, Madaline, Jeremiah, Noah, Micah, AnnaLynn, Karsen, and Kenna.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday March 30, 2016 in the Stockton Baptist Church in Stockton, GA with burial in Good Hope Cemetery in Naylor, GA.
