Willie Blue Ethridge – 74

Of Valdosta, passed away early Sunday August 8, 2004 in South Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Laurinburg, NC and had lived most of her life in Valdosta. Ms. Ethridge was a dearly loved, devoted mother, and wife and will be missed by all. Her husband of more than 53 years, Philip Ethridge, proceeds her in death, along with her parents William and Ollie Blue, and six sisters. She was Baptist by faith.

Son Gary Ethridge, Sr. Valdosta, GA

Daughter and Son-in-Law Phyllis and Jerry Hutchinson Valdosta, GA

Grandchildren: Gary Ethridge Jr., Keri Ethridge, and Megan Hutchinson all of Valdosta
Beau Hutchinson, Louisville KY

Step-Granddaughter: Renee and Buddy Webb Ray City, GA
Step-Great-granddaughter Harlee Webb Ray City, GA

Brother and Sister-in-Law William and Paulette Blue


Funeral Services were held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday morning August 10, 2004 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Rev. Jim Schappaugh officiating with burial following in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
