Willie Albert Hurst – 81
Of Valdosta passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at his residence. He was born on November 8, 1939 in Thomasville, Georgia to the late David and Susie Bray Hurst. He was self employed as the owner of B & J Construction. He served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mildred Hiers Hurst and a brother Bobby Law.
Survivors include: 3 children: Cynthia “Cindy” Hurst of Valdosta, GA, Teresa Lynn “Terry” Pappas and husband, Butch of Valdosta, GA, William James “Jody” Hurst and wife Jeannie of Statenville, GA; Grandchildren: Travis Lentz, Chad Pappas, Ryan Pappas, Jenny Hurst, Jessie Flowers, Jodi Hurst, Jerika Hurst, Josh Hurst. Numerous great grandchildren; sister Beverly Maldanado of Okechobee, Florida.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
