Willie Marian Wisenbaker Bennett – 83
Of Valdosta passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Heritage House Nursing Home. She was born on June 8, 1928 in Lowndes County to the late William Lawson & Ida Frances Moore Wisenbaker. She was a member of Central Avenue Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, taking care of her flowers and being the "neighborhood mom". She is preceded in death by her husband Dana Bennett and a son, Danny Bennett.
She is survived by her, Daughters & Sons-in-law, Peggie & Tommy Allen, Valdosta, GA, Lorri & Anthony Gaskins Valdosta, GA; 4 Grandchildren: Clint Allen Terrie, Derek Allen Jessica, Cole Allen Rachel and Courtney Gaskins; 6 Great Grandchildren: Karsen, Dustin, Mallory, Kelsey, Jarrett and Gentry; 3 Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Wayne & Shelby Wisenbaker, Remer & Irma Nell Wisenbaker, Billy & Jeannie Wisenbaker, All of Lowndes County; A number of Nieces and Nephews
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 9, 2011 in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 315 2nd St W, Tifton, GA 31794.
